51 BitTorrent Users Sued for Porn Uploading
More porn, more suits...

Uploading is the key, isn't it? If P2P litigators couldn't actually upload anything from your computer, they wouldn't have much of a case. The mere act of downloading doesn't get anyone in trouble, since the intermediary would have to pull off the near-impossible stunt of being situated between the source and your computer to capture the action - not to mention the minor caveat that downloading isn't distribution. Regardless, since the nature of BitTorrent requires uploading, as opposed to the download nature of Usenet, we continue to have a steady stream of alleged infringers.

The latest two lawsuits come from old time favorites WeFightPiracy.com - one of the most active P2P litigation firms that focuses its work on adult entertainment. Let's take a look...

Boy Racer, a veteran of the file-sharing litigation scene, filed a copyright complaint against 23 John Does for sharing "Pink". First Time Videos filed the second complaint, against 18 Does for allegedly sharing "FTV Tiffany".

Will the porn BitTorrent lawsuits hit a brick wall like the USCG's campaign? We'll report back as these cases make their way through the courts.
